Beds were comfy, room decor was charming, easy parking and staff was lovely. We hit terrible traffic (twice!) and didn’t get in til late, but they called to make sure we would be there before the check-in desk closed, and when it became clear we weren’t going to make it in time, they arranged a late-night check-in for us and had space to allow us to do late check-out the next day which was hugely appreciated. Alvin also rocks!!! In the middle of the night he answered our call to help us figure out how to open the windows (which had been accidentally painted shut) and was totally sweet and kind about it.

This hotel had unique charm with huge artworks hanging on the walls and high quality furnishings in the room. The bed linens were soft cotton and we felt like we were in a luxury hotel for such an affordable price. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly great with fresh berries and salads with seeds and salsas. We were very grateful for the healthy options and the high quality rooms. I think it was a discounted rate because they were renovating the dining room and it was the off season but I’m not sure. It was definitely worth it.

The bathroom was spacious and nicely appointed. It would have been a nice touch if the small refrigerator in the room was encased in a cabinet (can’t the manufacturers figure out how to make them less noisy.) The morning coffee was great and access to ice was a welcomed touch.

The included breakfast was incredibly good. although the rooms were very old they were very clean. The added touch of a bathrobe and slippers was a plus. they also included coffee and water bottles in the room. I would definitely stay here on my next visit.
